...snow...on my vacation ???

Yes, it's true...we started out on a drive today...it was raining heavily, but we were determined to get out.  We left about noon, and drove a short way when it looked as if the weather was clearing.  As we climbed in altitude, however, we noticed some strange looking white stuff on the side of the road...could it be ?  We went through a tunnel, and when we came out the other side, there was about an inch of SNOW on the ground...unacceptable !!

We turned around -as did many more people - and headed for the coast.  Going down a side road, we came to one of the many signs with an exclamation point on it...never a good omen...but we pushed onward.  Before we knew it, there was a bulldozer and a pile of rocks where one side of the road used to be - it had collapsed...yikes !  Ever the adventurers, we kept onward...until we came to a mud slide in the middle of the road that really did look impassible - even for Giuseppe Kovaciello...

So much for that ride !  We drove back to the harbor in Agroploli and settled for a great pizza and a bottle of wine...much better...the pics will be on Facebook...
