Getting ready to leave Orvieto tomorrow...it's been wonderful ! Easter weekend has been full of excellent food and wonderful sunshine. The streets have been packed with people...lots of kids...a really festive atmosphere for the holiday.
One of our favorite places to eat has been Pizza Charlie...much more than pizza ! The pizzas are amazing, but so are the pastas...and the molten chocolate cake...wow ....whoever said that dessert is overdone has NOT had this one...wow again ! Joe's favorite was the affogato bianco...ice cream with a shot of espresso poured over it...yum for him !
Along the further lines of "you can't make this stuff up"...there was an unadvertised antiques fair here this weekend, along with a huge craft fair...really ?? Why drive 20 minutes to find it in Todi, when it's been here all along ?!
